High water in Jurgow 2008

Road to Jurgow is open again. Main bridge in Bukowina Tatrzanska is usable again but there is still work which have to be done on it.

It stops raining but water is still very high in Bialka river. Pictures day after flooding

Bridge from Brzegi to Jurgow is again opened. You don't need to use long detour any more.

Bridge on Bialka river is broken. When it stops raining it will be checked and reparation can start

RMF radio is saying that bridge is broken..

Bridge from Bukowina Tatrzanska towards birder cross in Jurgow is not usable. Water eat awey it from one side.
After all day of strong raining water in Bialka river near to the Jurgow became very high. From actual information which we have (23.07.2008, 20:44) all bridges towards Bialka river are closed. In Jurgow itself situation is not so bad. Only some of the basements are flooded. In a forest near to the Bialka river it is much worst. Surrounding of Jurgow's amphitheater is all under water. There are some losses also at the ski lifts. Soccer field in Brzegi is destroyed and almost completely under water. There is no electricity in the area because of broken pylon near to the river. There are problem with telephone connection also, line lands seems to be also broken and cellular are too busy. If it will be still raining situation will become very very bad.
Bialka river during shower and closely after it is very dangerous. There is a lot of trees in it. Also a riverside is changing rapidly.
