The best man's costume was first usually worn only for weddings, but later also for big celebrations. In this picture on the right is the traditional best man costume being worn on the occasion of driving the Roman Catholic Bishop into Jurgow. |

In Jurgow we also have wonderful music. Jurgow's musicians play music throughout Polish Spisz and also the Podhale area. In the past they have traveled with the folklore group to other European countries like Austria, Slovakia, Bulgaria, etc. We have prepared some examples of Jurgow's music here.
