Jurgow's Gallery - planting potatoes
The following photos were taken in 2002. Currently (in 2024), such scenes are unfortunately practically no longer seen. Nobody plants potatoes anymore. Farming in Jurgów has essentially disappeared. Only a dozen or so farmers still raise cows, sheep, and literally a few horses. This causes more and more fields to lie fallow. For some fields and meadows, sheep are a rescue. The shepherd's hut has been located near the lower station of the JurgówSKI ski lift for several years.
