Winter in Jurgów is very nice. There is usually a lot of snow. Forest and fields covered with snow are amazing. Since winter season 2007/2008 there is new ski resort in Jurgów at Górkow Wierch hill.
There are also another ski lifts in Białka Tatrzańska (about 4km from Jurgow) or Bukowina Tatrzańska with a similar distance. If you prefer Slovak's ski lifts you have them also in Zdiar (Strednica) (about 10 km from Jurgowa) or in Bachleova Dolina (about 14km from Jurgów). But it will be best when you choose our ski lifts in Jurgów. From the top of Górków Wierch hill there are very nice views for surrounding area.
